BPC appoints Ceres
Baked potato: on the agenda
Gemma O'Reilly 22-Oct-07
The British Potato Council has appointed consumer PR shop The Ceres Partnership in an attempt to get more consumers eating the humble vegetable.
Ceres has been brought on board to support a series of Autumn events including the national ‘Mash Challenge’. The agency will also promote regional activity stressing the versatility and nutritional credentials of potatoes.
Agency director Jennifer John will head up the account. She said: ‘The British Potato Council plans to promote British mash and baked potatoes around the country this autumn in the fight back against the current trend towards rice and pasta.’
Other Ceres clients include Home-Grown Cereals Authority, Assured UK Malt and Mack Vegetables.
