Edelman and FTA join carbon fight
FTA: serves land, sea, rail and air
Edelman is to communicate the efforts of thousands of freight transport companies to reduce their carbon footprint to decision-makers in Whitehall and Westminster.
The agency has won a brief with the Freight Transport Association (FTA), one of the largest trade bodies in the UK with 13,000 members moving goods by road, rail, sea and air.
Public affairs MD Alex Bigg, who will lead the account, said the agency would help the FTA to ‘communicate its work in helping their members share best practice in cutting carbon emissions’.
