Whiteoaks bags Cerillion account

Cerillion, which provides billing systems for telecoms operators such as Pipex and Cable & Wireless, is taking on Surrey tech shop Whiteoaks.

It is the first time the company has used a PR agency and the appointment comes as it seeks to capitalise on a period of rapid expansion - Cerillion has doubled in size in the past two years and was recently named in The Sunday Times' Tech Track 100.

Whiteoaks, which was appointed after a three-way pitch, will run a campaign to boost Cerillion's profile within the telecoms industry.
