Corfin advises pilot trainer

An Israeli firm that trains fighter pilots is using Corfin Communications to handle its financial comms.

SimiGon, which last week managed to raise £5.3m via an AIM listing - largely seen as a success - has taken on Corfin full-time after the agency steered the company through the listing.

The company produces PC-based computer simulations and training courses for pilots - a service that cuts down on the time spent in ­expensive large simulators.

The firm is recognised for the involvement of Jeffrey Braun, a shareholder who became renowned in some circles after creating Sim City - one of the world's best-selling computer games.

Corfin co-founder Harry Chathli heads the account, reporting to SimiGon CEO Ami Vizer in Israel. ‘The market is crowded with the vast amount of foreign firms moving to AIM - but traders were attracted to SimiGon's potential,' said Chathli.
