Resolute enlists finance director

Resolute Communications has recruited a former finance director from the Interpublic Group (IPG) to boost its management team.

Mike Weston has joined the 40-strong agency - which has clients such as Roche, Shire, and UCB - from
FutureBrand, an agency within IPG.

He has more than 30 years experience in financial management and his most recent role - which he left last month - was as finance director of FutureBrand UK.  Weston has also held the same role at City PR firm Weber Shandwick Square Mile.

The role at Resolute is newly created and will see Weston working three days each week for the London-based agency.

Senior figures at Resolute include MD Phil Sheldon and co-founders Paul Blackburn and Anna Korving.
