Disney toiletries job for Pegasus
David Quainton 23-Mar-06
Walt Disney is to lend its name to a range of kids’ toiletries, with a UK launch to be promoted by Pegasus PR.
Products such as Messy Paws handwash and Magic Bubbles colour-changing bubble bath will be sold in Boots from April. All will feature characters from the Winnie-the-Pooh series.
Pegasus will target women's and parenting press through a range of activities, including a London picnic. Promotion will be tied in with the 80th birthday of AA Milne's characters.
It is the first time UK pharma and toiletry firm DDD has obtained a Disney licence. The Pooh franchise includes Huggies and Johnson & Johnson in the US.
