Africapractice lures former MP
Africapractice, the PA consultancy focused on African development, has hired Tony Colman, Labour MP for Putney from 1997-2005, as an associate director.
Managing director Marcus Courage said Colman's 'profound knowledge of the UN system' would help clients 'establish innovative partnerships to advance their operations in Africa and benefit development'.
Colman was a member of the International Development Select Committee but lost his seat to Tory candidate Justine Greening on 5 May.
Prior to entering Parliament, he was a director of the Burton Group and co-founder of Top Shop.
