Blue Cross backs community work with donor appeal
Blue Cross: donor appeal
by Staff 17-Aug-05
LONDON – The Blue Cross, the animal welfare charity, is launching an appeal this week to raise funds for outreach services.
The organisation is sending a mailing, created by WWAV Rapp Collins, to more than 125,000 of its existing donors.
The mailing includes a letter from a Blue Cross community veterinary nurse, Sally, and a one-week diary detailing her appointments.
The work carries the strapline "Come and see for yourself the difference your help makes" and shows Sally next to her ambulance.
A slip explains how different levels of donations fund the work, suggesting sums of £15, £30, £50 or "other".
