Good Relations on justice IT account
Sarah Robertson 12-Aug-05
The Criminal Justice IT unit has hired Good Relations to raise awareness of its multi-billion-pound drive to speed up the prosecution process.
Set up in 2002, the unit is responsible for digitising and co-ordinating systems across the Home Office, Department for Constitutional Affairs, Crown Prosecution Service, probation service, youth offender teams and prisons by 2008.
The new system will enable all parties to share information quickly and is designed to cut unnecessary paperwork.
'Good Relations will develop a comms programme, provide press office support and manage a programme of regional roadshows,' said Kate Tonge, PR manager at the COI, which oversaw the agency search.
Good Relations won a four-way pitch against Grayling, Luther Pendragon and Weber Shandwick to secure the 12-month brief.
