Konami hires Threepipe

Computer game firm Konami has hired Threepipe Communications to promote the launch of the company’s football video game Pro Evolution Soccer 4 (PES4).

The agency is aiming to secure celebrity endorsement for all of Konami’s sports titles and has already signed up Tottenham Hotspur footballer Michael Carrick to appear at Game Stars Live at Excel this week, where PES4 will be on display for the first time in the UK.

Carrick and other players were set to appear at the Konami stand at the gaming event, where they will take part in a live PES4 tournament.
