Roche hands corporate PR to Maquina

Marcelo Cajueiro 07-Jul-03

The Brazilian division of world pharmaceutical giant AF Hoffmann-La Roche AG. has hired Maquina da Noticia to take care of corporate PR in the country.

Maquina will also provide media relations services for the company's health care and primary care units.

Maquina won the accounts, which were formerly with local agency Attachee de Presse, through a competitive pitch. Helo Reinert will head a three-strong team on the accounts, reporting to Roche manager Elison Broza.

Roche was founded in 1896 in Basel, Switzerland and is now present in 150 countries world-wide. It entered the Brazilian market in 1931 and is the second-largest pharmaceutical group in the country.
