8 April: The Digital Economy Bill - which passed through the House of Commons last night - is probably the first piece of legislation ever to receive close online scrutiny, particularly via Twitter. The online noise - which has seen the bill trend high on Twitter for the past few days - is in contrast to a relative low level of debate in mainstream media.
