Social music platform mflow signs up agencies
mflow, the social music platform, has appointed Brew and Seventy Seven PR to work on its PR account. mflow has been heralded as Twitter meets iTunes meets Spotify following the launch of its Beta site. The agencies will provide an integrated strategy incorporating social media and traditional comms. Brew and Seventy Seven are the respective digital and consumer arms of the Fishburn Hedges Group.
Porter Novelli has promoted Kerry Gaffney, senior digital planner, to associate director, digital. Gaffney is responsible for ensuring all account handlers operate effectively within the digital space. She is also in charge of the agency's Digital Ambassador network, which operates globally and shares best practice internally.
The Red Consultancy's digital arm Shiny Red has appointed Matt Park, former digital head at Taylor Herring, as associate director. Prior to Taylor Herring, Park worked at Way to Blue as a publicist for music and film clients.
MphasiS, the technology-focused business solution provider, has appointed Lewis PR to work on its account on a retained basis within the UK and the Netherlands.
The company helps G1000 companies globally to improve their business processes by providing integrated solutions involving infrastructure technology, applications services and business process outsourcing capabilities.
Social Media Bootcamp, an event that provides training and best practice guidelines for companies wishing to work within the social media space, will take place next Wednesday, 31 March. Those attending the event will hear from speakers including Immediate Future's Katy Howell and former director of Racepoint UK Philip Sheldrake.
