Macesport to handle comms: National Football Centre
The Nottingham-based agency has been retained by The Football Association to handle all regional media relations activity connected with the new proposed St George's Centre in Burton.
Macesport and The FA's communications department co-ordinated a media launch earlier this week, attended by more than 100 media and footballing figures.
St George's Park will provide a centre for The FA to deliver its coach education agenda and a learning and development centre for refereeing, administration, medical and sports science disciplines.
It will also be the training home for the England Senior team and 21 other squads supported by The FA.
FA head of media relations Scott Field said: ‘It is of paramount importance to The FA that we communicate professionally and efficiently on a regular ongoing basis with the regional media about our aims and ambitions for St George's Park.'
