Flack
PR Week UK, Friday, 15 January 2010, 12:00am,
1. Those lucky ladies at Monsta have picked up the account to handle the PR for male model David Gandy.
Gandy, who is signed to Select Model Management, is the face (not to mention pert nipples) of Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue fragrance ads. Monsta is said to be 'looking forward' to the partnership. Hmmm ...
2. Speed Communications' John Brown decided to get his kit off in Trafalgar Square to make a comment on what he viewed as the UK's overreaction to the snow flurries and so-called 'arctic conditions'.
The publicity-hungry PRO ended up getting a slot on Sky News.
3. ... However, the girls at Davies Tanner were much more impressed by the snowfall. So much so that they couldn't resist taking five minutes out to create this rather unimpressive snow suitcase. 'Being a travel and tourism PR agency, we thought our snow creation ought to be in keeping with our specialism,' shrugged senior account manager Amy Scott.
