Former Burson-Marsteller associate director, Lynn Petersen, has
returned to the agency after 14 years to head its marketing
communications practice across Europe.
Petersen will be based in London and replaces Eric Gerritsen, who has
returned to his home in Italy to head B-M’s Italian operation. She will
report to recently appointed European chief executive officer Ken Rietz
and oversee B-M’s 100-strong consumer PR team across its 14 European
offices.
Petersen joins B-M from Swedish office furniture manufacturer Kinnarps,
where she was UK sales and marketing director for six years.
She said: ’Whether business-to-consumer or business-to-business, it is
our intention to make marketing work hard to build our clients’
business.’
B-M’s marketing communications practice clients include Unilever and
McDonald’s.
