GroupM's SocialMedia8 opens three additional European bases

Amsterdam-based social media marketing agency SocialMedia8 has announced the opening of offices in London, Madrid and Milan.
Igor Beuker, founder of SocialMedia8, said: 'In 2009 many brands embraced brand reputation monitoring and other social marketing programmes, and we expect this demand to grow the coming years. Being a specialist agency within the global WPP network certainly helps us to drive this exciting company towards new activities, clients and markets.'
The agency is owned by WPP's GroupM and Amsterdam-based Grupo LaComunidad and currently has a strategic partnership with Mindshare's global digital division.
SocialMedia8 currently works with brands LG, Heineken, Microsoft, Audi and Nike.
