Public Sector: Farm board plans roster
PR Week UK, Friday, 11 December 2009, 12:00am,
The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) is developing a roster of agencies.
The non-departmental public body was formed last April from five sector boards including the Potato Council and DairyCo.
Ten to 12 agencies are expected to be included on the four-year roster. They will not be retained but instead invited to pitch for projects that could last between a few months and a year. They will cover areas such as trade, consumer and public affairs.
The application process is now closed and the AHDB will contact agencies to pitch for the roster over the coming months. The roster list is expected to be announced by next March.
Agencies such as Good Relations, Weber Shandwick and Mistral PR are currently used by the board.
