British Airways rolls out Christmas 'homecoming' campaign

LONDON - British Airways has launched a Christmas-themed outdoor campaign to run at Heathrow Terminal 5 and other airport terminals around the UK.
The poster ad, by Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH), shows a small child at the arrivals lounge of an airport holding a sign which says ‘Daddy'. It features the strapline ‘Bringing you home for Christmas'.
In September, the airline launched its biggest marketing drive for two years in a bid to revive flagging consumers and business passenger numbers. The campaign featured nine documentary-style TV ads on the concept of ‘opportunity'.
British Airways recently agreed a £3.96bn merger with rival Spanish carrier Iberia, which would create the third-largest airline in the world.
