The Royal Navy has launched a campaign to attract top engineering talent to officer posts, using a new interactive application available via the iPhone and as a Facebook widget. The application was created by the Central Office of Information as part of a digital campaign in collaboration with creative agencies Marvellous and Glue.
Media Moguls has successfully held on to the account for the Careers Advice Service language line campaign, part of the Learning and Skills Council's approach to reaching more people from black and minority ethnic (BME) groups. Media Moguls has held the account for three years, since the addition of the French, Polish and Farsi lines in 2006. The campaign will target a total of nine BME communities.
Kent County Council has been selected as a finalist for the European eGovernment Awards 2009 for its internet TV channel Kent TV. The channel allows people to get involved in their communities through projects such as the Soundclash 09 battle of the bands and a film animation activity with local schools.
