LONDON - ITV is reportedly offering Jedward, the 'X Factor' twins John and Edward Grimes, £50,000 each to replace Jordan on 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!'.
According to The Sun, Jedward's 'X Factor' mentor Louis Walsh has flown to Dublin to convince the twins' parents that joining 'I'm a Celeb' would be great for their showbiz careers.
ITV has given Walsh a deadline of 5.30pm today to work to.
Asked yesterday on GMTV about the prospect of joining 'I'm a Celebrity', John said: "We're up for any challenge, we've got to think about it together and see if it's for us."
The Sun reported that 'X Factor' judge Simon Cowell thought it was a "great idea" for the twins to join 'I'm a Celeb'.
Katie Price quit the show yesterday after being voted by the public to undertake an unprecedented seven 'Bush Tucker Trials', during which she had to attempt feats such as eating fish eyes and being stung by ants.
