The Nectar loyalty programme has agreed a partnership deal with Viagogo, the secondary ticketing company.
Cardholders will now be able to buy tickets for live events on a dedicated ticket area of the loyalty scheme's website, powered by Viagogo, and receive points for doing so.
The is the first time Viagogo has entered into such an arrangement in the UK.
According to Nectar, more than 50% of households in the UK already collect its reward points when doing their grocery shopping, purchasing goods at Homebase or booking a holiday via expedia.com.
Viagogo launched in the UK in 2006 before expanding into Europe and North America.
