Media agencies vie for £30m EasyJet

LONDON - EasyJet has called a review of its £30 million pan-European media planning and buying account.
Agencies have yet to be approached but the low-cost airline is planning to send out a request for information in the near future.
The incumbent on the business, OMD, has been informed of the review. It is not known whether the agency will repitch for the account, which covers European markets including France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.
OMD picked up the business in May 2003 after a final shoot-out against Carat.
EasyJet's above-the-line business is handled by Publicis, which won the account in 2007, and is unaffected.
