Charles Manson auditioned to be a member and Jimi Hendrix once appeared as their support act. And now Mark Borkowski press and public relations is calling all 1960s fans planning to go ape for the first live stage performance by The Monkees in 30 years. The agency is handling the public relations for the nine-date UK tour by veteran popsters Davy Jones, Mike Nesmith, Peter Tork and Mickey Dolenz. The tour will kick off on 7 March at the Newcastle Arena and finish at Wembley Arena on 19 March.
