LONDON - Insurer RSA Group has appointed Fallon to create a global ad campaign to celebrate the business's 300th anniversary, following a three-way pitch between networks Publicis Groupe, WPP and Chime.
As revealed in Marketing, the anniversary campaign will highlight RSA's ‘contribution to modern society' since the launch of Sun Insurance in 1710.
The campaign will make reference to famous people who have taken out a policy with the company over the years, including Captain Cook and Charles Darwin.
Fallon will produce the global campaign creative, with support from Chime-owned PR agency Bell Pottinger.
'Fallon in advertising and Bell Pottinger in public relations were both coming from the same strategic and creative point of view, so we have decided to get them to work together on what is a very exciting milestone in RSA's history,' said Claire Sheikh, RSA Group director of strategy, marketing and customer.
