BORDER LINES: PARIS - Groupama-Gan hires Lasry

Insurance company Groupama-Gan has appointed Anne-Marie Lasry as head of communication and strategy. She will oversee a 20-strong team covering internal communications, advertising and sponsorship and will report to human resources, communication and strategy director Marie-Martine Court. Lasry joins from insurance industry trade body the Federation Francaise des Societes d’Assurance (PR Week, 8 May). Groupama bought former state-owned insurer Gan in July, creating France’s second largest insurance company with an annual turnover of pounds 8 billion.
