Hackney Council has appointed James Flynn as its deputy head of communications.
Hackney Council has appointed James Flynn as its deputy head of
communications.
Flynn will join from Newham Council where he is communications
officer.
He replaces James Odling-Smee, who left to join the Local Government
Information Unit in July (PR Week, 24 July). Flynn will take up the new
position next month, overseeing a team of seven and reporting to
Hackney’s head of communications Marina Pirotta. Previously, Flynn
worked for three years on London Underground’s Jubilee Line extension
project.
