Adeye will maintain the Storyz offices in Australia for business development and sales, but will move research and development to its headquarters in London.
Storyz was developed as a mobile and web-based application that allows brands to strike up relationships with people by running contests focused on sharing information via social media channels.
Adeye intends to offer the platform to media companies that want to enable mobile-to-web interaction, claiming it can easily be used as a "user-generated news type service".
Tommy Jensen, CEO of Adeye, said: "Storyz is fun, social, impossible to ignore, and a perfect fit for our existing suite of offerings."
Adeye's services include social media and mobile marketing. It was set up in 2007 and works for clients including JCDecaux, Sony Ericsson, Pepsi and KFC.
