LONDON - The Department of Health (DoH) is rolling out a new campaign warning consumers how easily swine flu can spread.
The TV and print campaign, by DDB London, shows people sneezing on their journey home from work.
In the TV execution, a father returns home, turns the volume down on his television, before his son picks up the TV remote and begins sucking his thumb.
Although part of the on-going ‘Catch It, Kill It, Bin It' campaign, the ad features the endline ‘Flu. Protect yourself and others'.
‘Helping to stop the spread of flu is easy, simply by covering your nose and mouth with tissues when you cough and sneeze, throwing the tissue away and washing your hands really cuts the chances of spreading the virus. This campaign is a reminder of how easily germs are passed around,' said Health Secretary Andy Burnham.
