Chris Barnes is the new editor of the specialist magazine for drummers and percussionists. Dave Tupper is art editor and Chris Burke is production editor.
Get the tone right
The magazine offers practical advice for all levels of drummers via in-depth features, artist interviews, tuition sections, product reviews and news. Barnes will refocus the title with as much practical advice as possible.
Approachability
Barnes wants PR professionals to approach Rhythm with engaging content, stories and feature ideas that they feel will benefit or entertain the readers. 'Please think about the demographic of Rhythm as we often receive pitches with little drum focus, which wastes everyone's time,' says Barnes.
