Independent fund manager Henderson Investors has hired former
Burson-Marsteller head of new business Vicky Staveacre as its first
divisional director, corporate communications.
Staveacre, who has been working as an independent consultant since
leaving Burson-Marsteller last August, joins Henderson on April 14.
She will be working on internal and external communications, reporting
to marketing director Lindsay Firth-McGuckin. Public relations officer
Jamie Brookes will report to Staveacre.
’Our target audience is the investment community at large, both private
investors and major companies looking for financial services,’ said
Staveacre.
The appointment follows a revamping of Henderson’s brand image, which
included a pounds 3 million sponsorship deal with the Williams Formula
One racing team.
