CBS appoints new director

Previously Italy regional area manager, he will be responsible for managing international clients and driving sales by working in partnership with CBS's international account managers in its seven European markets.

In January, CBS Outdoor appointed Pablo Gonzalez to the new role of international chief sales officer and Maggioni will report to him. A CBS Outdoor spokesman said these new roles reflect a plan to align business practice across all markets and facilitate more cross-border business.

Last month, Tim Bleakley, managing director of sales and marketing at CBS Outdoor resigned to pursue "other commercial ventures" following a management restructure.

CBS Outdoor is looking to recruit a managing director of CBS Outdoor in the UK. Colin Leahy is general manager, sales and marketing for the UK, in addition to his Irish responsibilities.

Clive Punter, former international chief executive, left the company in August and was replaced by chief development officer Antonio Alonso.
 
Punter became chief executive of CBS Outdoor International in 2007, after chief executive Tom Goddard stepped down.
