Innocent assigns UK media business to Vizeum

LONDON - Innocent has appointed Vizeum to its media account.
The agency will now handle all media planning and buying for Innocent's product range in the UK, which includes its smoothie and drinks lines, as well as Squeezies and Veg Pots.
Vizeum also works for Coca-Cola GB, which has a minority stake in Innocent. The agency picked up the £4m account after a two-way pitch against incumbent PHD Rocket.
The review was handled by Innocent marketing director, Thomas Delabriere. 'It makes sense for us to look at Coca-Cola's roster, but we are still an independent company and it was our decision to make the appointment,' he said.
In April, Innocent confirmed that Coca-Cola had invested £30m in the brand to enable its expansion across Europe.
Innocent appointed Fallon to handle its UK advertising account in March, having previously used its in-house creative team. Fallon beat WCRS in a final pitch after VCCP pulled out of the process at an earlier stage. Fallon was appointed to the Coca-Cola roster last year after being awarded the pan-European advertising account for the energy drink Powerade.
Last week, Innocent rolled out a £1.2m marketing campaign in London, created in-house, to raise awareness of its Veg Pots range, one year after its launch. The initial adspend is set to increase as the drive rolls out nationally in 2010.
