Wolfstar co-founder and MD Stuart Bruce said that Hanson’s appointment was part of a broader plan to expand the agency’s offering in line with increasing demand from outside the UK.
‘The reason we were keen to get him is that there is a dearth of public relations practitioners at any level who have actually worked with clients on successful social media campaigns, rather than just talking and blogging about the subject,’ said Bruce. ‘Mark is one of the few that's been there and done it.’
Both Hanson and Bruce are closely involved in the Labour Party’s efforts online.
Hanson previously worked as a consultant as Staniforth.
