Tested earlier this month, the application goes live tomorrow (1 October) for a Europa League game between Celtic and Rapid Vienna at Parkhead.

The service, which has been developed in association with Livestation, the online TV specialist, is available exclusively to iPhone and iPod Touch owners in the UK.

For a one-off fee of £3.99, users will be able to watch every one of Five's Thursday-night Europa League fixtures, plus highlights of each week's competition, for the duration of the tournament throughout 2009-10.

The service is available on wifi and 3G connections.
