Business and financial comms house FD to assist Burford Capital flotation

FD has been engaged by Burford Capital to advise the commercial dispute financier on its forthcoming junior AIM IPO.
FD is thought to have won the project brief via a competitive pitch and announced Burford Capital's intention to float yesterday.
The Guernsey registered firm is seeking to place shares of up to £200m and intends to come to market in mid-October.
The firm intends to use to proceeds to create and manage a portfolio of dispute financing investments, primarily focusing on commercial disputes in the US.
