The credit crunch has scuppered lots of entertainment budgets. But Diary hopes there's enough left to put some wind in the sails of this year's Advertising, Brands & Communications Cup.
You may remember this as the Inter-Agency Yacht Race, which has raised thousands of pounds for Helen & Douglas House, the children's charity. Now it's been relaunched and its organisers are looking for agency crews to join the action on the Solent on 24-25 September. The cost is £4,500 plus a £500 charity donation for a boat and two professional sailors. If you want to take part as an individual in a scratch crew, it'll cost you £450 and £50 for charity.
