Taylor Herring has been briefed to handle national and regional media for the World Cup qualifier between England and Ukraine on the 10th October .
Kentaro sold the rights to Setanta in December 2007, but the broadcaster went into administration in June. There are currently no offers from other broadcasters to screen the match.
Taylor Herring has a huge comms task on its hands to reach England supporters across the UK and inform them that they can still watch the match online. The agency will do this through an online and offline campaign.
Managing partner James Herring said: ‘This marks an interesting chapter in football broadcasting. The internet is coming of age.’
Herring will work alongside digital sport specialist Perform, which will market and stream the match online on a pay-per-view basis.
