Campaign, Friday, 28 August 2009, 12:00am,
Star TV, the Asian satellite broadcast business owned by News Corporation, is to undergo a restructure that will result in 200 people, including the chief executive Paul Aiello, losing their jobs.
The reshuffle, which is being instigated by News Corporation's Europe and Asia chairman and chief executive, James Murdoch, will see the reshaping of Star's three main units, Star India, Star Greater China and Fox International Channels.
A new office will also open in Hong Kong, consisting of a small group of existing executives to oversee business development and corporate communications.
