Hanover's Louise Fish joins NHS Confederation as director of comms

The NHS Confederation, the independent body representing 99 per cent of NHS organisations, has hired Hanover associate director Louise Fish as director of communications.

Fish will join the Confederation in September. She leaves Hanover after 16 months at the agency.

She had joined Hanover last year after leaving her role as communications director at the Government's drug rationing body, the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, after seven years (PRWeek, 21 February 2008).

Previously, Fish worked as a consultant at Fishburn Hedges and has also worked as a comms officer with the Liberal Democrats.
