Final shortlist for the PRWeek Awards 2009 is released

The list, published in this week's PRWeek, unveils the finalists in each awards category including the prestigious Consultancy of the Year Award.

Agencies in the running for this coveted award include three-time winners Blue Rubicon, Edelman, Lansons Communications, Frank PR, 3 Monkeys and Mischief PR.

Edelman is also in the running for the International Consultancy of the Year award alongside Burson-Marsteller, Text 100, Four Communications and Weber Shandwick.

Up-and-coming agencies Bondy Consulting, Diffusion PR, Pretty Green, Tetra Strategy and Wolfstar will battle it out to be crowned New Consultancy of the Year.

Other awards to be dished out on the night include Communicator of the Year, Public Sector Department of the Year, Specialist Consultancy of the Year and a host of awards for groundbreaking work over the last 12 months.

The PRWeek Awards 2009 will be held in central London on October 20.
