LONDON - The Department of Health (DH) and Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has reappointed Naked to manage the communications planning activity for its sexual health campaigns.
The appointment follows a three-way pitch managed by the Central Office of Information (COI) which also included MEC and Manning Gottlieb OMD.
Naked will handle new campaigns to help reduce teenage pregnancy improve sexual health in young people and raise awareness of the range of contraceptive choices available.
The COI is also reviewing its ad agency for the brief, shortlisting VCCP and M&C Saatchi for the account.
A shift in strategy means that in addition to warning people to protect themselves against unwanted pregnancy and STIs, campaigns can target a broader audience of parents, teachers, young people and health care professionals.
