Microsoft head of comms Simon Sproule leaves after only five months

Frank Shaw, who currently manages the Microsoft account at Waggener Edstrom, will replace Sproule in August as corporate vice-president of corporate comms.

Sproule will return to the automotive industry to take up a role with Renault-Nissan. His new appointment will be based in Paris.
