Ebico, a Christian not-for-profit energy supplier, has appointed 3 Monkeys Communications to handle its consumer PR.
The agency will attempt to raise Ebico's profile through media relations and by encouraging key opinion formers to drive word-of-mouth publicity. 3 Monkeys will stress that the company offers consumers a fair deal, but is also doing something positive to end fuel poverty.
Bright One Communications has been brought in to handle UK PR for The Pixel Project, an anti-domestic violence campaign that aims to raise US$1m for two domestic violence charities. It will launch a global campaign in January, asking people to unveil an exclusive image of male celebrities by buying $1 pixels.
The Fundraising Standards Board has taken on Turner PR to raise its profile. It wants to build public confidence in fundraising by creating awareness of the self-regulatory scheme. The body also wants to boost its membership and profile among stakeholders.
The Reading Agency, a charity that encourages people to read through the public library network, has called in Colman Getty for a 12-month account. Colman Getty will handle a media relations and thought leadership campaign to raise the charity's profile.
