Virgo Health: wins top agency award
The Surrey-based agency took home the PR Consultancy of the Year gong, while Red Door Communications was awarded a high commendation in the same category.
The event, which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, also saw Reynolds Mackenzie win the Best Small Consultancy Award.
Red Health and Pfizer were the big winners on the night, with Red taking home four awards including Campaign of the Year for its ‘Get Real, Get a Prescription' campaign for Pfizer.
Pfizer was also awarded In-House Team of the Year, while the pharma firm's head of comms Andrew Topen won Communiquétor of the Year.
Medicom Group chairman Martin Ellis was given the Communique Lifetime Achievement Award, which came a week after it was announced the agency had been bought by Euro RSCG Life (PRWeek, 10 July 2009).
The Young Achiever of the Year award this year went to Chandler Chicco Companies account handler Kelly Teasdale.
