GE launches Olympics campaign in T5

LONDON - General Electric (GE) has signed a long-term deal with JCDecaux Airport to occupy its Global Gateways poster site in Heathrow Terminal 5.
GE is launching a campaign that will build toward the 2012 Olympics and will be themed around the event. The company is a major sponsor of the Olympics.
The campaign was booked through PSI Advertising and OMD. The creative was by developed by BBDO NY. It aims to raise public awareness of the brand and will be supported by other outdoor activity as well as online.
The Global Gateways site is made up of 4 giant backlit billboards alongside the two ticket and security channels at Heathrow Terminal 5. All departing passengers must pass through the ‘gateway' to reach the departure lounge.
