MasterCard in Lunch push
Marketing, Tuesday, 30 June 2009, 12:00am,
MasterCard has signed a deal with Bauer Media's radio network to promote The Eden Project's nationwide community initiative, The Big Lunch.
The credit-card company will back the push to promote community spirit by urging people across the UK to eat lunch with their neighbours in their street on Sunday 19 July.
On-air activity includes station countdowns to the events and content to encourage listeners to participate.
On 19 July, the stations will host a Big Lunch takeover day, playing songs aimed at getting listeners in the mood for their street parties.
