LONDON - Alterian has expanded its technology agreement with Acxiom to provide for a global roll out, as it reports a 73% global revenue growth for the year to 31 March 2009.
The agreement provides for global roll out of existing Acxiom services that incorporate Alterian technology, as well as the introduction of a new Alterian-based service to Axciom clients.
Acxiom currently uses Alterian technology in many of its custom database services as well as in Acxiom MarketEdge-X, a service designed to provide growing companies with a cost-effective platform to deliver multi-channel campaigns.
David Eldridge, chief executive officer of Alterian, said: "Acxiom is a highly valued partner of Alterian and we are delighted to be expanding our relationship both in North America and on a global basis.
"We look forward to working with Acxiom on the global roll out of this proposition (MarketEdge-X) as well as other opportunities which broaden our partnership such as Alterian Acquire."
Alterian has confirmed revenue growth of 73% for the year to 31 March 2009, with particularly strong performances in the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific and online marketing software.
The year has seen more than 200 new customers signing up including Jaguar Land Rover, Stephens Inc and LendingTree.com, and 25 new channel partnerships secured including Targetbase Claydon Heeley and Departure.
Alterian said that a key strategic focus for the company over the past year was to promote integrated marketing services that enable customer engagement.
It broadened its product range with the acquisition of web content management company Mediasurface.
