MySpace has appointed Barry Flanigan, formerly marketing director at Telegraph Media Group (TMG), as director of marketing and audience development, UK and Ireland.
Flanigan's remit will include audience development, external media campaigns, content partnerships, community marketing and online PR. He will also manage external media and creative agencies.
Flanigan left TMG in 2008, after it scrapped his role as part of a restructure of its marketing and digital departments.
Last month, MySpace hired Lindsay Nuttall, as international marketing director.
