LONDON - UM has joined forces with integrated agency Splash to handle media buying accounts for a portfolio of brands, including Old Jamaican Ginger Beer.
UM, which said the value of the wins is £2m, has initially been asked to develop a £1m campaign for Old Jamaican Ginger Beer next month, as the soft drinks brand increases its media spend across TV, print, radio, online, cinema and outdoor.
Old Jamaican Ginger beer media spend, according to The Nielsen Company, was £316,301 between 1 April 2008 and 31 March this year.
The brand will be the first of three unnamed Splash clients the agency will work with. Splash clients include Pepsi, Siemens and Mont Blanc.
The IPG agency will also work with Splash on an extended range of client communications tasks.
